Recently, multi-colored clivia flowers have burst into bloom one after another at a solar greenhouse of the Institute of Flowers in Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, forming a sea of flowers that resembles luscious brocade. Among all, the blue clivias, a new breed that the institute cultivated this year using natural plant dyes, have drawn the most attention.
