Recently, the “Famous Historical City of Taiyuan—Exhibition of Cultural Relics from the Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties in Taiyuan Museum” was launched at Jinzhou Museum in Liaoning Province, showcasing a total of 125 exquisite cultural relics from Taiyuan Museum in Shanxi Province. It is the first time that the museum has introduced a physical exhibition since its establishment.

The exhibition displays the most abundant cultural relics from the Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang dynasties, collected by Taiyuan Museum, covering a diverse variety of characteristic ones, such as pottery, bronze wares, stone carvings, and murals. All the exhibits vividly reproduce the political, economic, cultural and artistic features of the dynasties.
