Eleven organizations, including China Publishing Group and the Liaoning Provincial Museum, participated in this event, offering more than 10,000 items such as bestselling titles and trendy cultural creative products at reduced prices. The venue also hosted traditional culture interactive activities on site such as rubbing, letterpress printing, seal stamp collecting, and ancient book restoration, drawing crowds of citizens, book enthusiasts, and families. The venue buzzed with visitors and the scent of books filled the air.
The book markets aim to promote a culture of reading through handson interaction, letting residents experience the charm of traditional culture in an entertaining way. Book markets will continue to roll out provincewide. Public book stalls and cultural night markets will be set up in hightraffic areas including shopping malls, residential communities and night markets, offering activities like book exchanges, cultural creative product sales, and cultural salons.
