The Dragon Boat Festival (or Duanwu Festival) is an important traditional festival in China. As the aroma of zongzi (sticky rice treats) leaves rolls in with the summer heat, Liaoning Province has been showcasing the unique charm of the festival in various forms. At Dalian Sun Asia Ocean World, children participate in authentic ancient Chinese style games, such as pitching pots (touhu) and fishing for zongzi. Meanwhile, a Dragon Boat Festival themed study camp also leads them to learn marine knowledge in an interactive way.
