This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. In 1931, the people of Northeast China fired the first shot in the World Anti-Fascist War. Over the following 14 years, the Northeast United Resistance Army fought bloody battles in Northeast China. The harshness of the environment, the brutality of the struggle, and the prolonged duration of the war were exceedingly rare in the history of world warfare.
