Liaoning Week of China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan was officially launched on August 24. A delegation of Liaoning fashion designers, organized by the Textile and Apparel Industry Branch of the Liaoning Council for the Promotion of International Trade, presented a spectacular cheongsam cultural show. Six outstanding designers from Liaoning brought the extraordinary charm of traditional Chinese costumes to the world through their ingenious creations—making this performance a major highlight of China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.

As a key birthplace of the cheongsam, Liaoning holds a special place in the history of Chinese costume development. Under the now-famous culture and tourism slogan “Nature’s Embrace, Liaoning’s Grace”, Liaoning boasts profound historical and cultural heritage. It was here that the cheongsam merged the essence of ethnic costume cultures, gradually evolving into a women’s garment with unique oriental elegance. Hailed as a treasure of Chinese costume culture, the cheongsam shines brightly on the global stage of fashion and has become an indispensable oriental element in the international fashion industry.​
