The Liaoning Museum Cultural and Creative Alliance Inaugural Conference was held on February 28, with over 200 representatives from member museums participating in the alliance gathering at the Liaoning Provincial Museum. To address challenges such as fragmented resources and incomplete industrial chains in the province’s museum industry, the Liaoning Provincial Museum spearheaded the initiative with 17 cultural and museum institutions, including the Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum, the 9.18 Historical Museum, and the Liaoning Provincial Library. The alliance now unites more than 140 museums, universities, cultural institutions, and cultural and creative enterprises.

Driven by the principle of “joint contribution, shared benefits, and mutual growth”, the alliance aims to integrate resources and collaborate on innovation, thereby breaking down regional and sectoral barriers to create a unified cultural and creative ecosystem across the province. By diving deep into Liaoning’s cultural deposits, and leveraging its unique cultural IPs, the alliance will blend traditional culture with modern design and digital technology to develop cultural and creative products that combine Liaoning’s characteristics with market value. Furthermore, the alliance will streamline the entire industrial chain—from creative R&D and manufacturing to marketing and brand operations—building a robust platform for connecting supply chains and market outreach.
