Tieling calabash pyrography and carving is a unique intangible cultural heritage (ICH) craft. Using an iron stylus as the creative tool, the craft integrates pyrography, carving and painting. The innovative application of colored pyrography imbues the patterns with both three-dimensional texture and vivid charm.

As the 4th-generation representative inheritor of this craft, Wang Guowei has dedicated decades to it. His works have won numerous domestic and international awards, and through cultural exchanges, this traditional art form has gained popularity overseas.
