The “Bridging China and France through Language & Art” China-France Youth Cultural Exchange Program (YES 2026) was grandly held at Liaoning Normal University recently. It builds a platform for Chinese and French youth to learn from each other and appreciate each other’s cultures, giving opportunities to build relationships, and deepening educational and in-person exchanges through cooperation between Chinese and French institutes.

French student representatives Elisa and Soulaimane delivered speeches, expressing their yearning for Chinese culture and expectations for this exchange activity. They thanked the teachers and students of Liaoning Normal University for their enthusiasm and thoughtful care, which made them feel comfortable in an unfamiliar country. They will devote themselves wholeheartedly to experiencing this wonderful journey together with Chinese students in the days to come.

Through diverse forms such as language courses, cultural experiences, and practical exchanges, this program helps French youth gain an in-depth understanding of China’s history, culture, and contemporary development, promote exchanges and mutual learning between China and France, and build a long-term friendship bridge for the youth of the two countries.
