The Northeast City Football League (NCFL) kicked off its opening matches on May 23 in Shenyang, Changchun, Harbin, and Hohhot. The Shenyang team, playing at home in the Tiexi Stadium, defeated the visiting Jixi team 3-0 amidst the cheers of 40,379 fans, securing a winning start.
