On the morning of June 5, the “Life and Work in Liaoning: International Services Briefing for Expats” was successfully held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

The event reviewed the achievements of 2025 and released innovative measures for 2026. In 2026, driven by digital transformation, Liaoning will launch three upgraded measures: First, a digital version of the “Liaoning International Services: A Guide for Expats” will be launched, a practical version easily accessible on mobile phones. It will include the latest convenient measures, and be regularly updated. Second, a service platform integrating payment, travel, accommodation, scenic spots, translation, and other functions will be created. Third, “International Experience Officers” will participate in the “Explore Liaoning” experience activity, checking in various scenarios such as transportation and tourism consumption. The digital version of the “Liaoning International Services: A Guide for Expats” was demonstrated at the briefing, and the Q&A session was lively, with many foreign guests raising their hands to ask questions.

The Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, together with relevant departments, will continue to introduce a number of new measures focusing on investment and settlement, customs clearance and payment, and travel and well-being. The successful holding of this event marks a solid step forward for Liaoning in continuously optimizing its foreign-related business environment and expanding high-level opening-up.
