The 2026 Liaoning International Friendship Cities Conference opened in Shenyang, Liaoning Province on June 10, with the theme “Liaoning: Wisdom & Friendship Cities—Forward Together”.

This conference is the third Liaoning International Friendship Cities Conference held by Liaoning Province. From June 9 to 12, the conference focuses on international cooperation in education, and science and technology. It features a series of main events and six thematic sub-forums on cutting-edge areas of sci-tech and education cooperation. During the conference, cooperative projects involving city friendship, education, science and technology, and industry-academia-research collaboration will be signed.
