Ambassador of Serbia to China, Maja Stefanović, who studied at Liaoning Normal University for one year in 1993, feels a deep connection to Liaoning Province during this visit, and considers the province her hometown in China. In an interview at the 2026 Liaoning International Friendship Cities Conference, she stated that she was honored to witness the signing of a friendship agreement between Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Liaoning. This visit is also an important opportunity to explore new avenues for cooperation with Liaoning, which will further deepen bilateral relations between China and Serbia.
