Have you noticed that we send countless smile emojis every day, yet few genuine, vivid smiles can truly touch our hearts?

Scarlett, anchor of Liaoning International Communication Center, visits the Liaoning Provincial Museum to check out its annual special exhibition Smile: Imprints of the Chinese Spirit in Cultural Relics, embarking on an immersive journey chasing smiles across time.

The exhibition brings together over 300 artifacts from nearly 40 museums and cultural institutions across China, interpreting the imprints of the Chinese spirit through the lingering smiles preserved on these relics.

Scarlett partners with a photographer to capture two sets of shots: the ancient smiles preserved on relics and natural, lively grins of visitors, staging a cross-time dialogue between ancient and modern smiles.

These warm, identical smiles spanning millennia break the barriers of time. They showcase the unique romance and open-mindedness of Chinese people, conveying the gentle, inclusive spiritual core of Chinese civilization to the world.
