On October 21, Shenyang Jianzhu University held its 24th Rice Harvest Festival. Students from home and abroad gathered to enjoy traditional Chinese ceremonial reaping and harvest-celebration dances, while savoring porridge made from the newly harvested rice.

With great enthusiasm, the international students also stepped into the paddies to help with the harvest—reciting the classic Chinese poetic line, “Every single grain is the result of hard work”—as they experienced the joy of the campus harvest.
